Black leather S3001 armchairs by Christoph Zschocke for Thonet, 90s

A pair of very comfortable S3001 armchairs, designed by Christoph Zschocke in the 1990s and produced by Thonet Germany. The armchairs are made of solid, heavy beech plywood and rest on a chrome-plated tubular steel frame. These armchairs were produced in various versions; this particular set features both black leather and a black wooden frame. Both armchairs are in near-perfect vintage condition, with some minor signs of wear on the back of one of the chairs. The original manufacturer's mark is visible under the seat of both armchairs.
