Hagoort adjustable counterbalance floor lamp, 50s

A 1950s counterbalance floor lamp by Willem Hagoort for Hagoort Lampen, featuring a matt black shade with perforations on matt white rods. It is a highly dynamic design: the horizontal arm can rotate 360 degrees around the base and also move up and down. The shade can also be adjusted in all directions. According to a (derived, unverified) source, this lamp was featured in the 1959 issue of the magazine 'Goed Wonen'. Hagoort Lampen was a Dutch lighting company from the Rotterdam region, closely associated with Willem Hagoort (1900-1973).
