Two vintage desk lamps, 50s/60s

Set of two vintage desk lamps with a beautiful patina that has developed on the shade over the years. The origin is unknown, but the dating points towards the 1950s/60s. The lamp consists of a straight, chrome-plated steel arm with a swivel shade and a counterweight at the end. The adjustment screw allows the lamp to both tilt and be adjusted in height. The straight rod rests on a heavy, black-painted steel base. The lampshade is made of chrome-plated aluminum with a white lacquer finish on the inside. Underneath the base is a characteristic green felt protective pad, with a production sticker featuring numbers under one of the lamps.

The lamps are in fair but weathered condition. The shade has corroded into a beautiful patina. The chrome layer on the rods shows some light signs of corrosion, and the paintwork on the base shows wear. The inside of the shade is yellowed and stained. The wing of one of the adjustment screws has broken off. Both lamps still have their original plugs, though they are of different designs. Please see the photos for all details.
