Red/black 'Hexa' coffee table by Bernard Vuarnesson for Bellato, 1980s

The coffee table named Hexa was designed by French designer Bernard Vuarnesson for the Italian producer Bellato. It has four sliding and reversible laminated blades in black and red. This modular furniture dates from the 1980s and is in very good vintage condition.

Bernard Vuarnesson is a French engineer and furniture designer, known as co-founder of the furniture brand Sculptures-Jeux with his wife Ariane Vuarnesson in 1973, and as a professor at Ecole d'Architecture Intérieure Camondo in Paris from 1975 to 1980. Since 1982, he has focused on designing interior furniture. His designs are characterized by modular systems, making them flexible and functional.
