Ingo Maurer model PE 5 table lamp for Design M, 80s

Large white table lamp with model name PE 5, designed by Ingo Maurer for the German design label Design M in the 1980s. The lamp is featured in the 1980-1981 Design M catalog. The white base and shade are made of lixiviated brass with an achromatic protective verneer. The shaft is made of transparent plexiglass. The lamp is in good condition, with some signs of wear to the lacquer on the shade and a small dent in the opening at the top of the shade (see photos).
