Off-white desk lamp model M2 by Floris Fiedeldij for Artimeta

Eye-catching minimalist metal desk lamp, designed by Floris Fiedeldij and only produced for a short time around 1960 by Artimeta (Soest, Netherlands). This lamp is documented in the 1960 Artimeta catalog under the model name M2. The off-white shade with a round hole in the middle evokes a nice fifties atmosphere. The matt chrome arm can move in the holder (up and down), the heavy metal base keeps the lamp stable. The wiring and the on/off plug have been renewed.
