Fritz Hansen beechwood nesting table set of three, 40s

Set of three nesting tables by Fritz Hansen, crafted from beechwood in the 1940s. The tables feature a simple, functional design with slender square legs and horizontal crossbars. The tabletops have rounded corners and are set into the frames, with finely finished joints that attest to the high quality of the craftsmanship. The three tables are designed to slide neatly under one another and can also be used individually.

The tables do not bear the FH brand, but the smallest table features the original Fritz Hansen label, which is unfortunately only partially legible. The label on a comparable set clearly points to the authenticity of the maker (see the last two photos). The tables are in good to very good condition, with light wear on the top of the largest table.
