2-seater sofa model 4735 by Gerard Vollenbrock for GELDERLAND, 1980s

A rare two-seater sofa by Gerard Vollenbrock, made of thick black saddle leather with model number 4735. The sofa, like the chair of the same name, was designed for Gelderland in 1985. This model builds on the 1981 'First Design' chair.

Vollenbrock has been a furniture designer, painter and writer since 1981. His furniture designs are soberly and expertly made and are recognisable by their simplicity. The sofa is in very good condition with minimal signs of wear and corresponding seating comfort.
